World Outside Our Doorstep Program
About the Program
The World Outside Our Doorstep provides opportunities for youth of Northeast Los Angeles to access natural and cultural resources.
Through partnerships between the Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club, the California Natural Resources Agency and the Office of Governor Newsome, youth are visiting museums, cultural centers and getting to experience the outdoors through monthly field trips funded through California’s Prop 64.

Field Trips to Natural Resources
Get your hiking boots ready and let’s discover the beauty that lies beyond the concrete jungle. Our program offers members the ultimate field trip experience, where we’ll take you on an adventure through our city’s stunning natural resources.
Educational Workshops for Life Skills
Unlock a brighter future through our substance abuse prevention workshops. Young people will gain the skills and knowledge needed to make wise decisions, build resilience, and avoid risky behaviors.
